A software simulator of a numerical control (CNC) lathe serves as an educational methodological tool designed to introduce aspiring machine building specialists to the fundamentals of programming parts turning operations using standard G/M-code (Fanuc System A).

The core of this three-dimensional simulation model is a lathe machine featuring a conventional layout of units, complete with a CNC system, an eight-position turret, a three-jaw chuck, a tailstock, a coolant supply system, and other essential components. Material processing is carried out on two axes within the horizontal plane.

The software product is utilized within the field of education through computer technology, encompassing laboratory sessions for students in computer classes, remote learning, and as demonstrative support for lectures in various training areas and specialties such as "Metallurgy, Engineering, and Material Processing."

The simulator's functionality includes creating control program texts for turning operations in standard G/M-code format, verifying the syntax and technological accuracy of control programs, displaying three-dimensional graphic models of the primary components of the lathe machine and metal-cutting tools on a computer screen or similar device to simulate metal turning processes. It also provides three-dimensional visualization of part formation during turning based on compiled control programs, visualization of toolpaths, and interactive user engagement with the simulation model of the technological equipment.

The software utilizes OpenGL 3.0 components for its graphics. The program's graphical user interface is available in English and Russian languages.

The application necessitates a minimum of 200 Mb Video RAM to operate efficiently.

Limitations of the Lite version include inaccessibility to certain cutting tools and the presence of advertising content.
